What our name represents
Tao:(pronounced dhow) means the way, road, path, course or principle. A route to follow through life
Mountain: Ancient teachers took their students to the mountains to find inspiration, to clear the mind and discover the pleasures of open space and fresh air. From ancient times to now the mountains have been great places to discover life and its meaning.
Tao Mountain is a social enterprise. A 'not for profit' company limited by guarantee. We exist to promote health and well being for people and the natural environment
As TaoFirstAid we specialise in giving you the skills you need to save lives, to be safe yourself and providing the vital equipment you may need whatever environment you face. Whether learning to deal with the unexpected or planning for the future, we give you a helping hand on the road to health and well-being.
As Tao Medics we provide emergency support to events such as adventure races, trail and cyclo-cross meets and ultra distance marathons. We also provide specialist support to event teams themselves.
